Building My Media Server: Part 2

After looking at products and different setups for a media server, I've finally embarked on the second attempt to make ti happen.  My original attempt included trying to run Windows Media Center Edition 2005 with a Windows Server 2003 virtual machine.  This ended in disaster, which forced me to dump MCE 2005 and instead run everything of Windows Server 2003.  I've been able to hobble along--mostly--but had never been that satisfied.  I miss being able to time shift my TV and have a so called '10 Foot Interface' for watching all my media.  I've been on the lookout ever since...

New iMac Keyboard On XP

Shortly before the new iMac debuted a few weeks ago along with a new keyboard, my current Apple keyboard was starting to signs of impending death. I had purchased the thing form a thrift store for a measly $5 so I can't complain about longevity, so when the new Apple keyboard came out, I knew it was time to replace it. A Blue Ribbon--What?

Ya know, it's late at night (and I'll be sharing why in about a week), but I was thinking: If I were on national TV, what stupid thing what eek out of my mouth? The reason I ask is this:  I was watching the Game Show Network one day and a new show, Camouflage, was on.  The game show host was asking a contestant what her favorite hobbies were and she said:  "I am a blue ribbon goat milker."
