Vista Flip 3D And OS X Expose For Windows XP: UPDATE

It has been about a month since I started using TopDesk as an alternative to the default Windows task switcher and it has been a wonderful experience. There have been a few hiccups because software, well, is software, but being able to mimic the Vista Flip3D and Mac's Exposé effect is really cool. Most of the problems I've encountered are known issues, but I think for the sake of disclosure, they ought to be discussed. The biggest issue I have is that of copy and paste in Firefox. Most Famous Windows Keystroke

Sometimes you really need a good laugh, so here's a fun anecdote as to the most famous keyboard keystroke: Ctrl + Alt + Delete. This, shared by the inventor with a panel of other geeks, including Bill Gates himself. Funny how being the richest guy on the planet can't buy you a sense of humor.

From Vista To XP--Why The Downgrade?

Nothing has been more shocking to me than to see my web page hits go through the roof when I published a guide to downgrading to XP. This, and just a few weeks later Microsoft announces that it will no longer be selling Windows XP to OEMs. Ouch! It seems to me that people are voting Vista down--and they should be! When I buy a brand new PC, I expect it to zip--and not just bundle files together! I shouldn't be harassed every time I click on something. I shouldn't have to go out and purchase...

Downgrade From Vista To XP

Finally! After months of wrangling with my wife, I got her a new laptop. Her old one was slow, inept, and the power supplies we would buy off of eBay would melt after a few months of use. What provoked the sudden purchase? Finding a computer that was able to be downgraded to Windows XP. It's true. Any new computer you buy this day has Windows Vista onboard, which to anyone who has taken the time to use it, is a real headache.
