Maybe I was just having a bad day.
Maybe not.
If you're like me, you pay all your bills online, all you're correspondence with people is via email, and even sending a Hallmark card is done online. And then you have those once-in-2.5-year occurrences when you actually need two postage stamps. If I needed to buy a book of stamps, it would take me about a decade to go through them all.
So, my wife starts calling around to various businesses that lie nearby because a trip to the post office is farther than it's worth. She calls to Signal...
Anagrams are always a lot of fun, especially when something weird comes out of one. Check out the Internet Anagram Server to create some pretty zany anagrams. The title of this post is an anagram for New York Times.
The IAS doesn't give you all possibilities (and as you can see not all of them make sense), but what is really interesting is that you can enter WIENER SKY MOT and it doesn't give you a suggestion for the New York Times.
Oh well, it's fun.
For those who have withstood the Siren's call of Microsoft Vista, hope is on the way for those who want a sharper looking user interface without buying into the sham that Vista really is. I found a skin called VistaXP.
I was diggin' around tonight and found this pretty impressive video experimenting with time lapse photography. I'm linking directly to the creator's site instead of the vid on YouTube simply because his original has greater resolution and clarity.
Given I had enough money to retire right now, I'd consider taking this up as a hobby.
